Updating 5D firmware
Somehow firmware updates always feels like a scary process. It ended well so my Canon 5D is on firmware level 1.1.1 now
The kitchen is nearing completion
Yet some final plastering and painting to be done and bring kitchen stuff back into the new kitchen. Try to find a spot for everything and remember where we left it.
Progress in the kitchen
The walls and ceiling are plastered, the floor is almost ready for the kitchen equipment to arrive.
Nieuw ZOAB niet beschadigen ...
This sign is obviously meant for the workers doing the roadworks. Still it is a strange sign, freely translated into English it tells that there is a new toplayer on the road and that the workers should not damage it. Why would they want to damage it at all? It remembers me again of Bob Nicoll and Remember the Ice ...
Kitchen transformation
Our kitchen, or at least the space that will be our kitchen again. The washing machine standing fiercely in the middle, still continuing to do its work. When the workmen arrive the machine will be placed outside again for the time they are working to be put back in operation by the end of the day. And so it will continue for a while. In the end when all work is done and the new kitchen with the new equipment is in place, the machine will get it's reward: retirement!
